Race report for Round 6.
Despite a chilly morning and lots of fog, the spirit of the Winter Worlds racers remained unshaken. The adverse weather conditions necessitated a few adjustments to ensure everyone’s safety, but once sorted, we were off to an exhilarating start.
The race saw some notable changes in the finish sprints, which added an extra layer of excitement. Particularly impressive were the performances in B Grade and E Grade, where breakaways managed to hold their leads right to the end. Witnessing such determined racing, especially given the challenging weather, was truly inspiring.
The turnout was fantastic, a testament to the resilience and enthusiasm of our cycling community. Well done to all who participated and braved the conditions to make this event a success!
